Addicts (Illegal users)- This party has one side of this argument witch is the pro side. This party wants marijuana to become legal for all to consume. This would make the crime rate for marijuana go down. People also wan this to become legal so it can be legal obtained with out trying to hide their actions. The tax on this product would be very high and would help us decrease our national debt. Right now people are still getting marijuana in the states but it is done illegally. We can't stop people from getting marijuana but is making it legal the answer?
DEA: People are always talking about how marijuana if becomes legal will lower the crime rate. What we need to understand is instead of just canceling out the problem we confront it. No matter what their will always be organized crimes when it comes to marijuana. Making it legal isn't the only solution. If we allow one drug what is making it different from making all drugs legal? If the drug rate goes up on meth is the answer to make it legal no! We try to find ways to help people problems with out letting them use something that only covers the pain and doesn't medicate it.
